Atomic Reaction – Best Local Feature Documentary Award Winner

The story of Canada‘s secret role in the Manhattan Project that created the first nuclear bomb. The film traces the impact of uranium mining on the Northwest Territories and, especially the region’s Dene people, and the consequences of uranium refining in Port Hope where waste clean-up efforts continue to this day, some 80 years later.
