The second documentary feature from Director Brian D. Johnson, one of Canada’s most respected film critics and journalists, explores the magic of ink-making through the adventures of Jason S. Logan, a contemporary alchemist who harvests natural pigments from unlikely landscapes.
Dear Audrey
Filmmaker Jeremiah Hayes feature documenting the life and inner dynamics of another celebrated filmmaker (Martin Duckworth) is a witness to the profound stage of Martin’s most important work – caring for his wife Audrey after her Alzheimer’s diagnosis, and helping his 45-year old daughter, Jacqueline, who has autism, maintain a relationship with her mom.
To Kill a Tiger
A cinematic documentary, To Kill a Tiger follows Ranjit’s uphill battle to find justice for his child, a victim of a violent sexual assualt. With tremendous access, we witness the emotional journey of an ordinary man facing extraordinary circumstances.
Voices Across the Water
Director Fritz Mueller and writer Teresa Earle’s feature follows two master boat builders as they practise their art and find a way back to balance and healing.
